President's Message
Brett has re-vamped the website. There is more information
about the club on there, so be sure to refer people to the
website when they inquire about the club.
We are in that slow time of year again, where there isn't
much in the way of planned activities. The elections are
coming up, so bear in mind any nominations you want to make.
There are still a lot of improvements to be made at the field,
so be sure to attend meetings to keep up to pace on the plans,
and schedule for work days.

Notes from the last meeting.
Discussion was heard on the following
subjects:
- Changing the clubs Tax ID to reflect
the name change
- People flying airplanes in a private
field close to the club
- The election of officers for 2005
- Fixing the broken gate
- Making new frequency pins
Apparently there is a small group of
people using a field close to the convenience store at the
intersection of freezer locker rd and mt hermon rd. If you see
these people flying on your way to the field, please be polite
and stop to check frequencies. We need to come up with a plan
for frequency control if this becomes a problem
The election of officers for 2005 will be
held at the December meeting. Nominations will be received at
any meeting prior to the elections.
The gate was still broken as of the last
meeting. The county maintenance people have said that they
will fix the gate, but if it is not fixed soon we will have to
do it ourselves.
