President's Message

Now we have final approval for using the landfill, it is time to get all the work done to make it into a good flying site. Please try to come on March 13th, and bring anyone along who you think will be interested. Together we can make this a great flying site.

Ron Bachman - President

.

Next Meeting:
Wednesday, March 10th, 2003 at 7:00pm
Location: Tex's Fish Camp - please arrive between 6:00 & 6:30 if you plan to eat.

Notes from the last meeting.

Seth brought us the best news yet on the Landfill situation. All the official stuff is finished, and we have permission to fly at the field. Obviously the field is not ready for flying yet, so we now have to get together and do the work to make it into a good flying site. We agreed that March 13th would be the first work day at the new field. We will mow the runway, and pits, and try to organize what needs to be done over the next weeks. If the weather is good, and everything goes well we will fly after the work is done. Please invite anyone you think will be interested in seeing the new field. We are inviting all the local clubs to participate as well.

Year 2004 club dues are due. Per last meeting dues are now $60 and $30 for senior citizens, and the work credit program has been dropped.

Anyone requiring all seasons patches should contact Elbert, or come to the next meeting to place their order.
