President's Message

Club business is in the slow time of year. Elections took place at the last meeting with only one change in club officers. Please be thinking about the possibility of serving as a club officer next year. It is really worthwhile, and will help you gain a better understanding of how the club operates.

Getting final approval to use the new Caldwell County field is taking a little longer than we had hoped. As you can expect with anything where government approval is required, there is red tape aplenty. We just have to cross the bridges as we come to them.

Notes from the last meeting. 

A big change in the club dues structure for 2004. We decided to increase the amount of the dues to $60 discounted in the same proportions as before for seniors and junior. We also decided to end the work credit program.

Officers for 2004 were elected. The only change form last year is a change of secretary/treasurer. Elbert Cook will be taking this position.

We heard an update on progress for the new field. In summary everything is progressing, but there is some paperwork to file, and planning committee approval must be granted.
