President's Message

The team that went out to the field on the 21st have marked out a plan for runway, and pits positions. A diagram will be available at the next meeting. The runway is marked out with blue flags. Pits and buffer zones are marked out with yellow flags. The idea is to work on an improved runway farther out than the current runway, so that the current runway can be used while improvements are underway. Please come to the next meeting so we can discuss this plan, and agree on which steps to take next.

Notes from the last meeting. 

It was agreed to drop the dues for new members until the end of this year. Dues will be $20 with $10 for seniors and juniors. This is intended to entice new members to join the club.

It was agreed to move the new style shelter from the old field to the new field. If Bliss was unable to arrange for this to happen by the next meeting, we agreed to pay for it to be moved.

A meeting was planned for Wednesday July 21st at the new field, to create a plan of action for field improvements.
