President's Message

We had an eventful day at the new field on March 13th. We got the field mowed, and moved a shelter, and bleachers from the old field. Unfortunately we had a grass fire which burned up some of the equipment, including plastic chairs and the frequency box.

The field is officially open. Please begin to use the field, but bear in mind that we have more work to do, including putting up fences and moving more equipment from the old field.

Further plans will be made at the next meeting, so please attend, so that we can get the new field finished.

Location: Tex's Fish Camp - please arrive between 6:00 & 6:30 if you plan to eat.

Notes from the last meeting. 

Plans were made for the March 13th work and fly day at the new field.

Motion was approved to pay up to $75 to move one of the shelters to the new field by roll back wrecker.

Members were informed that Ivan Vrooman had been in hospital for some major surgery. Club members had approved the purchase of some flowers for Ivan.

Year 2004 club dues are due. Per last meeting dues are now $60 and $30 for senior citizens, and the work credit program has been dropped.

Anyone requiring all seasons patches should contact Elbert, or come to the next meeting to place their order.
