From The Oval Office
With regard to the new flying site, we had quite a lot of activity
in the last month. A group of members visited the site and 3
people flew from there for the first time. At the following emergency
meeting, the club decided to change the name to Caldwell Aero Modelers,
and applied for an additional insurance certificate.
There will be quite a lot of work to do to prepare the new site. I
invite everyone to participate in the upcoming work we have the
opportunity to make this a great flying site.
I would also like to thank everyone who attended the emergency
meeting. We had a very important decision to make, and having everyone
there helped out the decision making process.

Notes from the last regular meeting.
Bliss had taken a frequency scanner to the
landfill, and everything checked out ok.
It was decided to visit the landfill on Sept
13th, for the purpose of surveying, and trying to mow a runway.
The hrcam.com website name will expire in
October. We should be prepared to renew this name, or purchase
another if the club name is changed

Bliss reported that the Caldwell Co
Commisioners had agreed for us to use the landfill for two years
with an option on a further 3 years.
The club's name was changed from
"Hildebran R/C Aero Modelers" to "Caldwell Aero
Modelers"
It was decided to apply for additional
insurance for the landfill site.
A work day to clean up the Hildebran field was
planned for Saturday October 11th at 9:00am.
