Due to our ongoing issue with Neuville Industries, a proposal was brought up at the last club meeting, to move the runway by rotating it so that our flying is not centered so much over their property. This is a big issue, which will effect all of our club members, so please come to the next meeting if you have an opinion on this subject which you would like to voice.

Memberships are also due at this time of year. The by-laws state that membership is due on the first of January, with a 30 day grace period, so to retain flying privileges at the field, you need to have your 2003 dues paid by the end of January.

Notes from the last club meeting

Discussion was heard on the ongoing issues with Neuville Industries. The club is to provide a copy of the by-laws and a map of our no fly zones to Neuville.

A proposal was brought forward to rotate the runway, so that less flying is done over the Neuville property, and the approach will not be directly over the majority of their buildings. Further discussion on this issue is to be heard at the next meeting.

All club members should be on the lookout for new property. We are not being forced to move just yet, but we still need to be ready should that event happen.

Discussion was heard on the possibility of adding a gate to the driveway. Further discussion on this issue will be heard at the next meeting.

Into pilots were renewed with AMA for the 2003 year. Our intro pilots remain the same as last year.
