From The Oval Office

Planning for our annual fun-fly is underway. This year we will also be hosting a tailgate swap-meet during the day, so please bring anything you want to sell, or come prepared to buy if you want.

The fun-fly is on October 26th. The pilots meeting is at 9:00am, so please spread the word, and invite anyone you know, who you think might enjoy the event.

Our new shelter is up. It has given us a lot more space to sit in the shade, or shelter from rain. I hope you enjoy using it during your flying sessions.

We will be having a work day on October 19th in preparation for the fun-fly. Please plan on helping out, we have plenty to do and you can count the work day against your work credits.

I won't be able to attend the next meeting, so Jim Holder will be conducting the meeting. I will so you all at the fun-fly.

Notes from the last club meeting

The 911 address for the field has now been posted, please take a minute to read the notice next time you are at the field.

The new frequency pins for HAM bands and surface use will be at the field by the next meeting. Please make sure you use the appropriate frequency pins for your transmitter.

It was decided to finish off the fencing at the field during the next work day.
