From The Oval Office

I would like to welcome all of our new members, and to also wish every member a happy new year.

I would like to encourage each of you to come to the next club meeting. It is time to elect a new field marshall, and safety officers. Safety is very important, and I urge every one to follow the AMA safety code every time you fly.

I would also like to remind everyone that is is both our club and AMA renewal time. If you do not renew your membership, you will not be able to fly.

Thank you for your continued support of Hildebran R/C Aero-Modelers, and welcome to the 2002 club year.

Notes from the last club meeting

No more news has been heard on the status of the flying field. We are flying as usual for now, but I would like to urge every one to keep a look out for alternative flying sites, just in case we have to move.

The nominating committee presented nominations for the 2002 club officers. They were:

President - Ron Bachman
Vice President - Jim Holder
Sec/Treasurer - Rick Hughey
Editor - Brett Springall

A motion was made to accept the slate of officers as presented, and the motion was carried and approved by all present.

Due to the changes in the work credit program being made so that work credits are paid in advance, it was decided to wave all outstanding work credits owed to the club prior to July 1st, 2001.
