We are now into the time of year where club activity is at a minimum. We have our elections for new officers at the December meeting, so I hope all of the members who want to be involved can make it to the next meeting. If you want to be nominated for a position next year, please contact either Jim Holder, Rick Hughey or Brett Springall, or come to the next meeting to be added to the slate.

Notes from the last club meeting

Discussion was heard on the accident at Neuville. The issue has been resolved, with the modeller making payment to Neuville for the damages.

A new radio impound box has been installed at the field. It is intended that flyers impound their radios while not flying, as per club bylaws.

It has become increasingly difficult to arrange a place to hold a swap meet, so it was decided not have a swap meet during December this year.

The drinks machine which the club purchased this year is now making profit for the club. Enough drinks have been sold so far to pay for the expense of purchasing the machine.

It was decided to purchase Christmas gifts for the landowners as we did last year.
